Amtrak is the easiest way to get to Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs from New York City and Washington D.C.

William H. Gray III 30th St Station (Philadelphia, PA): the main Amtrak and local train station in Philadelphia. This is about 2 hours from NY Penn Station and a great option if you want to spend the day in Philly or choose to stay downtown for the weekend.

Ardmore Station (Ardmore, PA): the first Amtrak stop after 30th St Station as the Keystone train continues west towards the Main Line from Philly. Ardmore Station is 5 minutes from our venue and 20 minutes from the blocked hotels.

Philadelphia International Airport is a 30 minute drive (budget more time for traffic during busy hours) from Wayne and Newtown Square and 15 minutes from Center City Philadelphia.

You can also take a local SEPTA train (Airport Line) from PHL to Center City (stops include Jefferson Station, Suburban Station and 30th St Station). This train runs every 30 minutes.

Uber and Lyft are easy options for getting around both Philadelphia and the Main Line, as well as between the two. If you’re driving into the city for welcome drinks on Friday, just give yourself some extra time to account for any shore traffic!

SEPTA is the public transportation service in the greater Philadelphia area. The SEPTA Regional Rail train is another great option for getting between the suburbs and Philadelphia for any guests who are staying downtown or just want to explore the city over the weekend! The Paoli/Thorndale Line has stops in each town along the Main Line including Wayne, Bryn Mawr and Haverford. You can take the train from any of these stops to Center City (stops include 30th St Station, Suburban Station and Jefferson Station) for an easy 30 minute ride into Philly.
