Where it all began! EA, where we met, is a 5 minute drive from the Hilton Garden Inn Newtown Square and a 10 minute drive from the Wayne Hotel. The cross country course around campus makes for a beautiful morning walk!

Check out the historic Revolutionary War encampment site where George Washington stayed for 6 months. Valley Forge National Historical Park is about a 20 minute drive from each hotel.

One of the best outdoor shopping centers there is, located right next to Ardmore Station.

Shopping: Addison Bay, Gilbert & Evans, Gorjana, Dandelion

This famous urban market is located right next to Jefferson station and has been a Philly icon since 1893. From cheesesteaks and hoagies to ice cream and cannolis, there’s something for everyone here.

Stop by Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell for some sight-seeing. For any fellow history nerds out there, continue walking east towards the Delaware River for a scenic foot tour of all the other historic spots in Old City.

One of the prettiest parks in the city and also where we got engaged! If you go, make sure to stop by K’far (Sansom and 19th St.) for an egg sandwich or pastry.

Channel your inner Rocky and head over to the Philadelphia Museum of Art for a photo op and one of the most expansive art collections in the country.

Venture down to South Philly to cast your vote between Pat’s and Geno’s, two famous cheesesteak rivals located right across the street from each other. We’ll let you in on a secret though, neither one is the best cheesesteak in Philly. For that, you’ll need to go to Angelo’s, but get there early (11am) before they sell out. The line is worth the wait, we promise!
